What age groups are eligible to attend GMELC?

There are two age groupings. We do not have a kindergarten program. Children are enrolled throughout the year.

• Toddler—24 months to 3 years

• Preschool—3 years to 5 years

Does GMELC have a wait-list?

There currently is no wait-list for all age groups.

What is the GMELC wait-list process?

When your application is received together with your $50 application fee, you are automatically on our wait-list. In order to remain on the wait-list, families are required to “check in“ with the Center on a monthly basis. Failure to do so will result in being removed from the wait-list.

 

Does GMELC accept subsidy?

GMELC accepts enrollment of families receiving childcare subsidy from various agencies.

Which food items are included in GMELC tuition?

GMELC provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for toddler and preschool age children.

What background checks are completed on staff members?

A background and criminal history check is completed on each staff member, volunteers as well.
